Today was an unusually quiet day. Nothing planned at all. So, I decided to take Eli and Kate up to the outlet mall in Oshkosh. We packed a lunch and headed out. We really could have eaten lunch before we left, but packing a lunch sounded like more fun. : ) We did some shopping and then sat in the car in the parking lot and ate our lunch. Kate also got her lunch in the car. Was fun! Got a few things for the kids that were on sale... basically went to just get out.
Played The Ladybug Game with Eli today (we play this game all the time!) and I think I had the record for having the most aphids ever... I had 37! If anyone is familiar with the game I think you'll realize how difficult it is to collect that many in one game. I didn't win though. Eli beats me at almost every game we play... except P-I-G. : )
I bowled tonight and Mike's second batch of beer was ready to be bottled. So, he had the kids in an assembly line helping! He said they had fun. Wish he would have taken a couple pictures. I can already hear Rachel telling her friends she got to help her Dad make beer... oh boy!
Was so nice to see the sunshine today!
