the funny things kids say

As anyone with young children knows... each day is filled with many comments and conversations that simply make you smile.  My biggest challenge is to remember what is said and the exact wording... which is what makes them so funny!  Here are just a couple examples from today...

Rachel to Eli: "Eli, don't you want to apologize for you running up the stairs without telling me?"  Hasn't he learned that Rachel is the boss?

Eli to Rachel on the way home from school as they're talking about getting ready for their "dance class" in the basement when they get home: "Ray-cho (Rachel), are you going to wear your exercise clothes?"  The funny part is that he was totally serious when he was asking her!

There are so many times during the day that I wish I had a video camera rolling.  So many things are just not as funny when retold... "had-to-be-there" moments.  I'm going to do my best to remember exact wording, so I can share and hopefully give you a reason to smile.  Smiling is so important... : )

Kate didn't have any funny comments today, but she is starting to say "ma-ma," which is very exciting!  I do need to get it on video though, because I don't think Daddy believes me!

Want to also share a picture taken today that Eli wanted me to take for Papa.  Papa: notice the Harley shirt on the animal next to Eli.  He picked that out at Build-a-Bear the other day and thought you'd like!

I look forward to updating you frequently on things that happen with our family... reasons to smile! : )
