We went to visit my sister today and her three beautiful kids! Can't believe her baby is finally here - so exciting!!!!! [Eli had a dentist appointment (two cavities filled... he did great) in Oshkosh, so of course we had to visit.]
We hung out all afternoon - I really didn't want to leave, but figured my sister really should try to get some rest... although I know how hard it is to do that. ; ) The big kids all played together really well... we're so lucky! Kate and Nate were a little fussy, but not enough to complain about. I tried to get some pictures of Nevie, but not much luck. Nate and Kate were needy and Nevie wasn't tired. Hoping to get together again next week and try again. We tried to set up a little photo-shoot in the living room, but it was pretty dark there, too. Excited to try again soon!

Fireworks
We've been putting off doing the fireworks that Mike bought because it's been so dry out. We just didn't feel comfortable doing them. We've had some good rain the last couple days, so thought tonight would be a good night to do them. Rachel, Eli and Nate got to enjoy them. Kate was already in bed... she has been napless the last two days and just couldn't make it late tonight. Missed her.
Mike spent $20 last year on fireworks and bumped it up to $40 this year... it make a world of difference. We had some that actually went off the ground this year. They were actually really good! The kids were a bit scared of some, but they did enjoy. The sparklers were also fun!

Brewer Game... funny (I think)
When we got back in the house the Brewer game was still on. Rachel was quick to point out the "grandma and grandpa making out in the back!" as she said. Not sure I like that she said "making out," but it was funny to watch... glad she noticed it. I had to rewind and get on video.
