Suppose I should start with our non-friend... we caught it!
Rachel and Eli slept at grandma and grandpa's house last night. Thanks Steve and Mary! They had lots of fun... even got to go to the county pool and the driving range. They loved it!
Nate got to swing this morning for awhile. He wasn't too sure about it at first, but learned to like it more. Here is a picture and video of his experience. This was really his first time in the swing. I thought he was going to put his head forward too far and get a rope burn... thankfully he didn't!

I ran some errands with Kate, just Kate. Not sure when the last time is I did something with just Kate. It was nice. We went to four different stores and she did great! We even got a compliment at Joanne Fabrics. We were in line and Kate would take a little bag of candy off the hook and I asked her to put it back. She would put it right back without whining or anything. The lady behind me complimented me on how well Kate was. She said a lot of kids would have whined or cried when being told to put candy back. I ensured her that Kate does have her moments... but, is overall a good kid. Compliments are so nice... thank you lady in line ~ it made my day!
Our last stop was Pier 1... I wanted to look for some new pillows for the living room. They had a ton on clearance and the Rockweit in me made it hard to decide which ones to get! Kate was pretty good and surprisingly didn't break anything. I carried her around some areas. She was pretty much out of harms way by the pillow section. Here she is getting cozy in the pillows!
While I was with Kate we had a deer walk through our side yard... how neat! Rachel was able to snap this picture. : )
Tonight was a beautiful night! We hung outside until it was bed time. The kids had fun... they kept the most busy making what Rachel called "nature soup."
