Rachel, Eli and Mike had dentist appointments early this afternoon. We go up to Oshkosh for that. We went up there for insurance coverage with Mike's old job and even though we can go in town now with his new job... we still go up there. I love them and so do the kids. I can't justify making a change to something that's going so good. : )
Mike is still cavity free... and, yes, I'm jealous!
Rachel had no cavities.
Eli has two cavities that need to be filled.
Rachel has a few cavities and now Eli does, too. I think the poor kids were blessed (or not blessed) with my teeth. I have terrible teeth. Oh well...
[Kate kept calling the kids' chairs "toilets"... it was so funny!]
Mike brought Eli back to FDL, because he had t-ball tonight. I hung out in Oshkosh with Rachel, Kate and Nate until Rachel's gymnastics (which is also in Oshkosh.) Rachel also needed to have something done to her molars at the dentist and they had an appointment open this afternoon at 4pm, so we got that done right away. We stopped to get her some supper before that, too.
[had some down time and just not worth taking two little ones out in the rain, so we watched a movie. love the "Barbie and the Diamond Castle" movie!]
When she was at gymnastics Kate, Nate and I met my sister at Fazoli's. It was so much fun to catch up with her and to get all excited about her baby, which should be here any day now! She's due in a week... come on baby! I feel so lucky to have such a great sister - and friend. : )
When we were eating Kate was showing Sheri how she sprayed Papa last weekend. This cracks me up!
It was a long day for Kate. We were doing a lot during her usual nap-time. She was able to sneak in a couple very short naps.
[her thumb looks heavy in this picture : )]
Okay, I think that's all...
Wait... one more thing!! I guess opossums like fruit snacks! I just looked out and we caught it! Hopefully it's still there in the morning. Also, raccoons like sunflower seeds. When I looked out to see that we caught the opossum there was a raccoon eating the sunflower seeds out of the chipmunk trap Mike has set up using sunflower seeds. It's a wild kingdom out there!!!
I realize these animals are always around and have been around probably the entire time we've been living here. But, now that I actually saw them I'm a bit freaked out. It's going to be awhile before I go outside in the dark again. I know I'll get over it in time... ; )
Keep smiling! : )
