[he also found a "ball" (or pinecone) to toss around a bunch of times]
[my little tough guy!]
[he makes me laugh in shorts]
After they played for awhile we went over by the water to eat our lunch. My plan was to try to have them sit on a blanket in the shade, but the lakeflies were so bad in the shade. I kept them in the covered stroller and parked it in sun where the bugs weren't bad at all. They did very good. Have a feeling the blanket idea wouldn't have worked anyways. ;)
[yes, that's a Rume bag... ; )]
After lunch we went for a walk. I thought they'd for sure take a nap and thought I could just enjoy a nice walk through the park. Well, Nate did fall sleep, but Kate never did. It was still a very nice walk. I walked around the park a couple times... was so nice! It was hot out, but the breeze and shaded areas made it tolerable.
We saw lots of fun things on our walk...
[pelican]
[turtle]
[my favorite...]
[the deer!! this just cracks me up!]
[mommy ducks with babies]
[and daddy ducks]
After we walked around a ton I let Kate play for a bit while Nate kept napping in the stroller. She was having so much fun!
Eli had baseball again tonight. This time I was able to take some pictures. It was a nice night for the most part. It did sprinkle a little bit and was cut short because of bad approaching weather. He had fun and so did Rachel and Kate. Rachel jump roped with her friend and Kate played with her new friend. Nate was confined to the stroller most of the time. Poor kid! Although, he really didn't mind. I finally decided to let him run around and then it ended because of the weather... oh well.
[love this picture]
[Eli showing that he knew where to throw the ball...]
[gotta love the throwing action shots!]
[Kate and her friend she met last week at baseball]
Keep smiling!
