She played Mr. Brahms Famous Lullaby and Aardvark Boogie.

Thanks to everyone who took the time to come. Rachel was excited to know that people were coming... even her cousin, Abby! And, thanks also to those who helped take care of the little ones so Mike and I could both see Rachel without distraction. I sometimes (or often) feel bad that nobody really ever gets our full attention. Doesn't seem to bother them... they seem to understand, but I still feel bad.
Before we left home, we told the kids if they were good we'd get a special treat after. It definitely helped with Eli, who sat really good the entire time. Kate, well, not so much. And, Nate, is too little to understand bribery. Kate was not very good at all. She's been so whiny and naughty lately. She doesn't listen and is just naughty... and she knows it.
We went to get ice cream after and she didn't get any. She was very upset and cried and cried... and cried. She almost made herself sick at one point. She kept saying she was hungry. I told her she could have a sandwich when we got home. She actually took me up on that, which surprised me. Not sure if she understood or not that if she would have been good she could have gotten ice cream. Hoping she remembers how it felt not to get that ice cream and it helps her behave next time. We'll see.
Thank you, Mrs. Teska, for being a wonderful teacher and friend to Rachel. She enjoys going to her piano lesson each week. The recital was great tonight, too! Your hard work and ability to share your love of music is much appreciated... thank you!
