Eli's sleepover with Blake
Eli had a friend sleep over last Saturday. They had a great time! We had S'mores that evening and donuts in the morning. I love sleepovers! ; )

[these are flowers that Blake gave to me when he came. he asked his mom to pull over on the side of the road, so he could pick these... what a sweetheart. his mom said they were growing in the gravel and Blake had to shake the gravel from the roots... love it!!]
[this was Nate's first day in shorts this Summer... he has some definite tube-legs!!]
[I've made many, many, many, many... of these types of cookies and have never opened a package that was missing a cookie. Seems almost impossible for that to happen without the entire package being really messed up. had to take a picture.]

[every once in awhile I give myself a break and put them in the porch. : )]
[Kate loves to throw stones in the ditch when we wait for the kids to get off the bus at the corner... I think she'd do it for hours!]
[I think Pick N Save is having a "Rachel's favorites" sale! This made laugh!]
[Rachel lost her 7th tooth over the weekend... it was loose, but a kick to the face from Eli pretty much knocked it out.]
[Kate cut her foot on our outdoor rug somehow. She was very tough and it ended up not being too bad. Thought her little foot looked so cute bandaged.]
[somedays it's one thing after another. nothing major, but all little things like this. it's what being a mom is all about. thankfully I have this blog. I see things like this and instead of getting annoyed or frustrated I just think... I need to get a picture of this and include it in my blog. whatever works, right?! :)]
[the kids and I have gone for a couple longer walks along the lake road lately. it's so fun and so beautiful! here are the kids with a sunset behind them. yes, Kate and Nate are sleeping.]
Kate and Daffodils
I was outside with Kate today while Nate was napping. We had a popsicle, filled the bird feeders, I ruffed up some wood chips and then we cut some daffodils to bring inside. Couldn't resist taking some pictures...

[she was, however, excited when I told her we were done and she could toss the flowers. they were all broken from her handling them so much. we did cut others for our vase inside. love them!]
