fun braids and Kate with sucker

We had a pretty mellow evening last night.  Rachel was practicing french-braiding, which she's really getting the hang of.  Then I was braiding her hair and told her to take her shower and then I'd braid her wet hair and she could leave it in overnight and we'd see what happened.  Well, it was crazy this morning!  But, she (and Kate) had fun with it! : )

Today, during lunch, all of a sudden Kate ran into the front room.  I knew what she was going to do.  I literally ran after her and told her she was trying to go #2 on the toilet.  She said no, but I still took her and as I was carrying her to the bathroom I told her I'd give her a BIG sucker if she went on the toilet.  She finally stopped squirming and I put her on the toilet.  I walked out and told her to tell me when she went.  Not even a minute later she says, "Mom, I went poopy!"  I was so excited for her!  Now, if we can only make a habit of this. ; )
