relay for life and madison zoo

What a fun weekend!

Relay for Life
Friday was the Relay for Life.  We have had a team for the last four years I believe.  The weather was very nice and we were there from about 4:30pm until 10:00pm I think.  The kids had had it by then. ; )  We did some walking, eating and chatting ~ all while supporting a great cause and remembering Patrick...

[Kate and Olivia had fun blowing bubbles... I mean putting their hands in the bubbles!]

[the face-painting was great!]

[Eli's was scary!]

[Olivia got an adorable purple heart... <3]

[Kate had a little flower]

Saturday
Eli had a birthday party for a friend Saturday afternoon.  He had a blast at Do-It-All Sports, McDonalds and their house.  Rachel, Kate and I played Barbies for awhile when Eli was gone.  On Friday, the kids and I went to Greenville to visit a good friend's rummage sale.  She had some Barbie things that she was selling that she had when she was a kid.  We bought a couple things and Rachel was so excited about them!  We just had to play with.  Kate is also starting to have fun with Barbies.  It's so fun to watch them both play.

[the kids and I stopped at Fazolis after the rummage sale... yummy!]

[Barbie Burger King]

Madison Zoo
Today we decided last minute to go the zoo in Madison.  The weather was supposed to be perfect... highs in the upper 70s... so nice!!  Christy and Olivia came with us - it was a blast!  Here are some of the pictures I took.  So much fun!

When I was getting our sandwiches ready for our picnic at the zoo I realized... hey, we do have a large family.  I forget so often that we have four kids... there are some moments like this that remind me. : )

[we were very lucky to be by the giraffes when they were eating... it was so neat to watch!]

[the prairie dogs were the kids favorite]

Some pictures from Christy, too. : )

Keep smiling! : )
