Here are some pictures of the fun...
[big boy and little girl... love!]
[everyone during our picnic]
[zoomed in to see everyone you can actually see ; )]
[tried to get a close up of Nevie, but the way she was in her stroller I couldn't get a picture... and then forgot to try again later. bummer!]
[love this! checking out his muscles... at least that's what it looks like. ; )]
[the girls being daring and riding the benches on the merry-go-round!]
Our plan was to do the rides after eating and playing awhile on the playground. As we walked to the rides there were some dark clouds. Didn't think rain was in the forecast at all, so figured it'd just pass by. I checked my phone as were getting tickets for rides and I had a blocked call and message from an unknown number. Weird. Checked message and it was from an officer asking me to move my car because they were setting up for an event at Lakeside park. Thought it was so weird. Anyway, Sheri stayed with all the kids by the train and I went to move my car. I also took Sheri's keys and ended up having to move hers, too. It was weird, but whatever. After I moved my car and was on the way back to move Sheri's it started to rain... and some thunder. Had no idea that was coming! Got back to the crew and it was still pouring rain. About 15 minutes later it looked to almost be done. The worker came up to us and said that they had to wait 15 minutes after the rain stops to run it. So, we waited for our train ride for at least a half hour... too funny!
[me and the kids on the train... Nate's first ride. : )]
We went to look at the ducks and there was a guy there feeding them some bread. He was so nice and shared it with us... actually gave it all to the kids. They had fun! : )
[we enjoyed some A&W on the way home, too!]
Abby is sleeping over tonight. Kids were all up late watching the Olympics... sorry Sheri! Hopefully they'll sleep in a bit. : )
Keep smiling!!
