Last Summer Sleepover

Last night Rachel had Abby and Ella sleepover for the last Summer sleepover.  She was so excited for it!!!  She wrote up an agenda for each girl and everything.

They played with their dolls, played outside, danced, wrote notes, had pizza, watched a movie, ate ice cream and slept in camper... pretty fun time!

They also wrote notes to each other.  Eli slept at Ryan's house and snuck the phone with him.  Rachel was bummed, because the girls wanted to text... aren't they too young for this?!  I told her that they should write notes to each other... which I've suggested before.  I threw in the idea of all using a different color marker and it got them very excited.  They did this for at least an hour I think!!  I had them come down to eat and they said, "When you told us to do that I was like, that's boring.  But, then we did it and that's awesome!!" Rachel also said, "Mom, that's the best idea you've given us ever!"  Love it!!

I really want to find their notes, but that might be too nosey of a thing to do! ; )

I slept with the girls in the camper and Mike held down the fort inside.  Nate was up a lot the night before, so I was afraid he'd get Mike up a lot while I was in the camper.  Nate even wet through two pjs the night before.  I had the bottle set out and ready to go along with two extra pjs and onsies.  I get in at 6am to take a shower and... that's right... Nate NEVER got up!!!!  What a stinker!  I'm happy he finally slept through the night (only has a handful of times.)  Mike will just never know what it's like to be me... which, I guess, is okay. ; )  Mike did have a talk with Nate before he went to bed and said that if he wakes up he should just go back to bed... that must have worked ~ guess I should try that!

The girls were up at 7:00am... not too bad. : )
