And, I had to do close-ups, too!! : )
So, Abby spent last night at our house and she stayed again tonight. The girls have had a blast together!! I know Sheri is missing Abby, but she's been such a pleasure to have around... she really is a great kid. The girls played barbies, listened to music, went for a walk, played with their big dolls, played with Ella, watched a movie, had ice cream, made anklets and did lots of laughing. Good times!
[kids eating supper tonight - I have no idea why Maggie is over-weight?!]
[and, Nate... watching the big kids eat supper]
[the girls had their dolls skating today]
[Nate is his navy and orange... this outfit always reminds me of Patrick ~ Appleton West and Chicago Bears...]
[Kate feeding her little brother... love]
I was due for a 5-mile run today. Training for a half-marathon the end of September and I really hate to miss a run. I was going to run early this am, but it ended up not working out. So, I took the kids with me mid-morning. I just ran up and down our street... it actually wasn't as bad as I thought. So glad I did it! The kids were great!
This was my facebook status today: 5 kids + 5 miles + 0.45 mile road = lots of repetition and snacks (and GREAT kids!)
Here is my route (not sure if you can even see it)... boring, I know! The kids hovered in the middle while I went back and forth (and back and forth and back and forth...). I was always a little ahead or behind them. I could see them and direct them the entire time. They did take a couple short breaks under the trees. The girls had their dolls, Eli had the phone for playing games, Kate had a snack and Nate fell asleep. : )
If you want to smile again I think you should scroll back up and check out the kids' faces... hilarious! : )
Keep smiling!
