Rachel: End of Year Celebration... and some pictures

Rachel had her End of Year Celebration today.  It consisted of the entire school playing games outside, getting to eat lunch outside and then concluded with getting to watch the CARS movie with orange drink and popcorn!  She was very excited for the day and I was excited to be able to help out.  I left smelling like a combination of popcorn, orange drink and sweat... it was so warm!  Not complaining though... it was nice they had good weather since a lot of the special events were outside today.  The kids all seemed to have a good time.

The kids were also given the opportunity to make their own car and there were many categories they could win prizes for... biggest, smallest, lightest, edible, heaviest.  Well, lucky Rachel won the edible category!  She was so excited!  She got to choose a stuffed animal, which was a perfect prize for her!

Eli and Kate got to hang out with Grandma and Grandpa today... thanks Grandma and Grandpa!  They had a great time!

After picking up Eli and Kate we dropped McD's coolers off and had to pick up supper.  I just did not feel like making anything. : )  Then later this evening the kids and I hung out outside.  It was so nice out later this evening... not so hot.  I was so pooped I just hung out by them playing and took pictures.  Was fun.  Here are some of my favorites. : )

[bunny ears!]

[love them!]

[this one just makes me laugh for some reason... not sure what she's doing]

I was also trying to reenact a picture I took of Rachel and Maggie a few years ago.  Kind of similar... the best I could do.  The old picture of Rachel and Maggie is one of my favorites... love it. : )

Cute Conversation:
Rachel: You know what I like about Kate?  Everything!  I hate to see her grow up.
Eli: But, she's chubby.
Rachel: So?
Eli: That's funny.

Kate - Milestone
No, she's not walking!  But, she did sit up from a laying position.  Usually she just rolls around and doesn't care to sit back up.  But, she did it tonight... we'll see if she remembers how to do it tomorrow.  It's so fun to see her finally getting interested in moving around and getting places.  Maybe she will get curious enough to want to walk. : )

Have a great weekend!! : )
