I planned to take the day off from writing today... until Kate started a new trick this evening. So, had to write an update. : )
I could also write about the fun I had at my sister's house with her and her kids this morning. : ) I had my camera, but didn't even pull it out. Not sure what my problem was! Bummer! It's so much easier to write about a day or event when I have pictures to guide me. The kids had a blast playing and Sheri and I got to talk a little. Love my sister! Thanks for having us over!
So, back to Kate. This evening I had her in the living room and we were just hanging out. She was ready for bed... as you'll notice in the video. She has her jammies on and her hair-tie is out... she has some crazy hair!! She started a little scoot action and I was able to convince her to keep going by having her go towards one of Rachel's little suitcases. She really wanted that. When I took the video she was also going towards Mike's phone... she loves that! So, here is Kate bringing back Eli's "scoot!" Her version is a little different from Eli's, but just as cute. Love it!
The kids are all ready for the Walleye Run tomorrow morning. They both plan to run alone this year. Rachel did last year, but this will be Eli's first year running alone. Hopefully there are no skinned knees! : )
