LU Alumni Game

Mike had his alumni game for Lawrence University today.  We have made it to most of them since he's graduated.  It's always a nice time.  So nice to see some of his old teammates and other players that played both before and after him.  All around nice group of guys... and wonderful basketball organization.  Thank you LU for holding the alumni game each year ~ it's something our family looks forward to.

We did get our camera back today... yeah, it's fixed!!!!  Unfortunately, I only pulled it out once quickly and took a few pictures.  As always, wish I would have taken more.  Here is all I got...

Here are a few pictures that were still on the camera from before it broke.  This was one of the kids' photo shoots.  It's going to be awhile before I'm ready to hand my newly fixed camera over to them again.  Sorry kids.

Our living room couch needed to be taken in to be re-stained (or whatever they're doing) because something was used at some time to clean it that shouldn't have been used.  Over the last several months the color has slowly been wearing away... it looked terrible!!!  We love the style of the couch and it really is in good condition, except for the color, so we couldn't see buying a whole new couch.

The reason I'm writing about this is because I realized just how big our "bus" (Suburban) is!  Our full-size couch, which is not small, fits in it and the back even shuts!!  I found that unbelievable!  Now, in about a week we'll have what will seem like a brand new couch ~ can't wait!
