On Saturday the two big kids had sleepovers. Rachel slept at Ella's and Blake slept here. The kids played all afternoon, we met at the Fond du Lac High School's Department of Theatre's performance of Tales from the arabian Nights and then the sleepovers. Very good times. The performance was excellent!!! The students did a great job!
Here is the only picture I got of the boys... darn. This is when I woke up and was about to go downstairs. They were both playing games. : )
Thanks, Michelle, for getting this picture of Rachel. She had so much fun ice skating!!!!
This is a picture I just had to share. I love it when the kids do this... they eat almost everything and then say they don't like it and want something different. This was Kate's cereal bar. All of a sudden she's like, "I don't like this." Really, Kate? It's almost gone - I really think you like it. I told her if she wanted something else to just ask. Don't make up such a silly story. ; )
Conferences
It was conference time again tonight. I went and Mike stayed home with the kids. It's just easier that way when you have four kids. : )
Eli ~ Is doing very well and is where he should be and a little bit ahead of where he should be at his age. He's doing better with participating in small groups. Still struggles with one on one with his teacher. She said she can barely hear him answer when she asks him a question. Eli is just so shy... which, I'm the same way, so I get it. She did tell me that he kind of got into trouble the other day. It was funny, because it didn't seem to bother her at all. He and a classmate both had their hands on a block and were going to put it away when it was time to clean-up. They both wanted to put it away and neither one would let go. They were kind of fighting over it. She said she looked over and could not believe Eli was involved!! She said she did discuss with them how they should have handled the situation, but she said it was good to see Eli interacting at least. ; )
Rachel ~ She is doing very well. Her conference was short and sweet. Fine with me... as long as all is going well. : )
Both kids have great teachers this year... it's a great feeling to know they're in good hands all day.
Okay, now back to remembering my grandpa while eating some mint chocolate chip ice cream...
Keep smiling!
