First of all, our "big bus" as we call it (Suburban) rolled 77,777 miles. Not sure what that means, but I thought it was cool! Although, I'm easily amused, which I think I've mentioned before. ; )
Today was a beautiful day! Got out for a walk with Kate, Nate and Maggie this afternoon. Maggie is pretty lazy, but did good today. The weather was perfect for her. We took her for about a mile and then brought her home to go further. It was so nice out I just wanted to keep walking. And, Kate and Nate were great... which is helpful.
[Nate can't help but sleep when we go for a walk and as long as Kate has a snack she's usually good!]
I've never heard of the turkey in disguise project before, which is probably hard to believe. I've notice several people post pictures on facebook and thought it'd be fun to have the kids do. Rachel was busy with another project (she didn't have any interest in this) and Kate just colored her turkey. But, Eli had a lot of fun with the project. Here is his turkey in disguise!
[it's a mailman... : )]
Rachel informed me of something today that I have to share...
She told me "it takes 43 muscles to frown and only 17 to smile!" I told her that was definitely a blog-worthy fact! : )
She said she wasn't positive on the numbers, so I looked it up. As I was looking it up people were going into way too much detail about what the true counts are for smiling and frowning. Some say that it actually takes more muscles to smile, but that it takes less effort because people tend to smile more frequently... so those muscles are in better shape. Okay, this is way too much detail. Even though what Rachel heard above may not be true... I'm still going to believe it!
Keep smiling!
