half day of school... and thank you Melissa!

Here is a picture from over the weekend... forgot I had some pictures on my camera.  Love this one of Nani and Papa with Kate and Nevie.  Love how Nevie is looking at Kate. : )

Nate is all over the place these days!  He always has this big grin when he's standing up... he thinks he's so cool!

Rachel and Eli had a half day of school today.   I really wanted Rachel to pick up her room and practice her spelling words.  I knew if I mentioned that to her when she got home she'd probably complain about it.  So, this was my idea and it did prevent complaining.  Whew!  Rachel actually loved the list, which I figured she would.  Sometimes it's all about the presentation! ; )

We didn't get to the Christmas chain or making flowers, but everything else was checked off!

Blake came over this afternoon.  The boys had so much fun playing!  They were outside a lot!  It was fun to watch them play football.  They were smiling the entire time!!

The boys also had fun playing keep away from Kate.  They were very good with her.  She had a lot of fun!!

I think keep away got the best of her!  She was so tired tonight!  This was before supper...

Eli fed Nate supper tonight.  This was a first.  He did great... something else I can get help with ~ yippee!

Lastly, and most importantly... I want to thank a great friend for a very special piece of artwork.  Melissa ~ thank you so much!!!  It is perfect!

I ordered some 'you made me smile' cards from her... link below ~ love this idea.  She sent them to me along with this painted wooden sign.  It came with a very nice letter, too.  You totally made my day, week, month and maybe even year.  It was such a nice thing to do.  Coming from my mom-idol made it that much more special... thank you again, so much. : )

[i think i found a perfect spot for it... right where i can always see it.]

[it reads "reasons to smile" one the second line... so perfect!]

Keep smiling!!
