Tonight Rachel received her First Reconciliation at Holy Family Parish. She did very well and handled it like I hoped she would. She did it all by herself... I was very proud of her. They've had a couple meetings for the preparation and I've been very happy with everything. I felt she was very much prepared for tonight. Again, very proud of her.
First Game of the Season
After that we went to the Fondy basketball game. Our first one of the season. Earlier this evening when we were talking about going the kids asked if this was going to be Nate's first game. And, I found it hard to believe, but it wasn't. He was to a game or two last season when he was very little. We enjoy going and the kids do, too. I think we all enjoy it for different reasons... Mike to watch the game, me to keep the kids busy for awhile and the kids to eat popcorn and run around at half-time and after the game. Even though we all enjoy the game for different reasons... it's nice to have something we all enjoy doing. : )
