shopping trip and kate being funny

I went on my annual shopping trip to IKEA, Woodfield Mall and outlets Saturday.  This year it was only me and my mom.  My sister wasn't able to make it this year.  We definitely missed her.  Last year we stayed overnight and shopped for pretty much two days straight.  This year we thought we'd try not staying over... but, realized staying over makes it a much more enjoyable trip.  We were able to go to IKEA, Woodfield Mall and Pleasant Prairie outlet mall, but that's a lot to cover in one day.  We hit up the places we really wanted to get to, but didn't have much of a chance to just look around at some other places.  We got to IKEA at 9:30am and left the outlet in Pleasant Prairie at just about 9:00pm... lots of shopping!  So, much fun!

Mike was working Friday night and Saturday, so the kids got to sleep at grandma and grandpa's house... thanks Steve and Mary.  Sounds like all went well!

Yesterday was a nice day with no plans.  We got some odds and ends done around the house, which is always nice.
