So, it's not the one kids normally lose first. If you remember awhile back he bumped his front tooth with his knee while playing wii. It's been loose and he just kept wiggling, wiggling and wiggling. I really think he was up most of the night since it became loose working on it. He's been very excited for it to come out. I have a feeling he's going to have a space there for sometime... guessing the big tooth won't be ready to come in for a long while. Love it!
He was wiggling it tonight and it was so loose! I told him to go use a kleenex, because it would be easier to grab his tooth with. He did and just pulled it out! Wow! A little different from how Rachel handles a loose tooth. She waits until hers are so loose they fall out when she's talking. ; )
He wrote a letter (with a little help) telling the tooth fairy that he wanted to keep his tooth. He's a pretty proud boy tonight.

I also completed the Brewers Mini-Marthon today. I've been doing pretty well with training for it, which made it much easier today. It was actually fun... as weird as that might sound! I had my music blasting and reminded myself to enjoy because I was by myself and enjoying some peace and quiet... the things moms do for "me-time." : )
The weather wasn't looking good. Got up at 4:15am this morning and we hit the road by 5:00am. On our way it started to rain and lightening. As I was looking through the race info I read that if there was lightening during the race it would be cancelled. I didn't want that happen! It would be a bummer for me, but even more so for all the people who did so much planning the event. By the way, I thought they did a great job with it!! It was the first Brewers Mini-Marathon and I was expecting some confusion at some point, but I never felt that. Everything was communicated perfectly and things ran so smooth... I plan to run again next year!

Well, we lucked out... they ended up delaying the start of the race 25 minutes, so the lightening could pass. What a great idea! By that time the rain was pretty much done, too. It ended up working really well. Yeah!

It was chilly, but just perfect for running!
Some of the highlights of the run:
1) high-fiving the racing sausages around mile 10... I went out of my way to do this.
2) almost running over a camera guy... no idea what I was looking at, but not in front of me
3) the two people hanging over garbage cans around mile 11... yuck
4) running through miller park... awesome!
5) hanging out (or freezing-out) with some friends after the race... didn't stick around too much, it was so cold after
6) getting a nice, warm pumpkin latte on the drive home!
Thanks Mike for your support today... much appreciated. I know you were disappointed you couldn't run ~ I missed you running, too. Knees suck.
