Eli to me, "And, tonight I'll get another dollar."
What? Yes, he pulled out the other tooth that has been loose. It's weird though, because this is also not one of the first teeth you'd expect a child to lose. This one has been loose, but I'm not sure how it started to get loose. Who knows. I did tell Eli that he has to stop pulling out his teeth or he won't be able to eat anymore! He doesn't seem worried and really seems to enjoying this tooth-pulling stuff. It's so funny!
I guess grandpa might have a little something to do with this. I heard today that grandpa told him if his teeth are really loose they could fall out when he's sleeping and he could swallow. Then he'd have to search for his teeth you know where - in the toilet. Sorry, grandpa, had to share! So, Eli might be afraid of having to search for his tooth if he swallows it. ; )
Oh, and, the tooth fairy left Eli $2.00 AND his tooth... he's one lucky boy!! If I remember correctly, the tooth fairy also left Rachel $2.00 for her first lost tooth. All the rest have been $1.00... so, we'll have to see what Eli gets tonight!
Zim Open
We also had the Zim Open today. Mike golfed and the kids and I met him at the course for lunch and the kids' favorite... the raffle for door prizes. : ) There was a lot of family and also a good group of friends that were there this year... very nice outing. Thanks to all involved and all who participate and supported the Zim Open. It allows a scholarship to be awarded to an athlete at Fond du Lac High School in memory of Mike's grandpa, Gale Zimmerman.
Tonight Nate sat up from a laying down position all by himself for the first time! Yeah, Nate! Mike made a comment "good save" and I looked and said "he's sitting!" and Mike said he was, but that he almost tipped over. I told him that I laid Nate down on the floor... then we realized he sat up by himself!
Busy, but fun week ahead! Hope everyone enjoys.
Keep smiling!!!
