Kate is a lot of fun to have outside this year. Last year she wasn't even walking around, which is so weird to think about. She just loves playing outside now... so much fun!
Here she is with something she learned today. This was Rachel's when she was younger and Kate saw it in the garage. Didn't think Kate would be old enough for it yet, but she did pretty good.

Kate was also pretty funny this afternoon when she was playing with Rachel's toy... can't remember what this thing is called. But, Kate was having fun. My favorite is when she says, "ouchie mamma!"
Rachel has done a few exciting things lately...
She won awards at school for being the Top Reader and Top Fundraiser (thanks to those who supported her) in her class for their 1st Annual Read-A-Thon. She was very excited about this accomplishment. She did very well and did a lot of reading during that week. She has been reading so much lately. She's into chapter books and thinks it's so fun to be using a bookmark. She was even reading outside the other day... so cute. I was never a big reader, so I'm very happy she has already found interest in reading. : )
She also learned all the prayers she needed to learn in her religion class. She had to memorize several prayers and recited the last one tonight for her teacher. Their reward for learning all the prayers was a book, which she was very excited to get.
And, Nate... well, he's so smily lately... LOVE IT!! : )
