A lot of de-cluttering and a little cluttering!

(our internet wasn't working last night, so this is actually my update from yesterday)

So, I've been working really hard to go through things as I'm packing and getting rid of things that I really don't need.  Figure this is a perfect opportunity to get rid of clutter. : )  Did good today... two trips to Goodwill and another bag ready to go.  Also found some clothes for a friend to go through.  So, did great at getting rid of things.

Then, I broke down... on my way to take the kids to school I passed a rummage sale in our neighborhood.  I could see they had some bigger kid toys, so decided to stop on my way home.  They actually had a lot of nice things.  I was able to pass on everything except the adorable little antique tricycles.  They had four of them... some in rougher shape than others.  We really don't have any nice tricycles for Kate when she is ready... probably not until next Summer (we'll focus on getting her to walk this Summer!).  But, these tricycles were very easy to pedal.  I decided to get two of them.  One that's in pretty good shape for Kate and the other might just be used as a yard decoration.  They are both so neat... love them!  And, only $16 total for both.

Rachel brought home a grass friend from school and was so excited to give it a hair-cut.  Here is a before and after.  She is excited for it to grow some more, so she can give it another one. : )

Eli had a picnic at school today.  The weather cooperated!!  They had a great time.  They walked from Marian to the park on 4th and National... quite a hike.  They also got a tour of the fire station on the way.  How neat for them!!!  Eli had a blast playing with his friends at the park and they saw some baby ducks, which was very exciting for them!  His last day of preschool is already this Friday... crazy!

Had to get gas and I was close to empty.  Had a feeling it was going to be over $100 - and it was.  I usually don't even pay attention how much it costs when I put gas in... not like I can change it.  But, when it went over $100 it caught my attention.  Maybe I'll fill up when I'm at a half tank from now on just to prevent the shock of seeing $100+ on the pump! : )

: )
