[Miss Daisy is getting way too big way too fast.]
[she met a turtle in our yard last week... was fun to watch her around it. the poor turtle was freaked out.]
[she found where the cold air comes from!]
[this is the wall we created to keep Daisy off the carpet during her potty training stage. the bins are now two levels. ;)]
[she snuck in the living room the other day and this is what she looked like when I found her. good thing she's cute!]
[Nate and I went for a bike ride to see some fish and check out the lake. So happy it's finally nice out!]
[Kate knows the best times to snuggle with Daisy!]
Eli had another 3-on-3 tournament two weekends ago. Kate and Nate were great again! Lots of cards and we also ran to Target between games. I saw a patio umbrella I wanted and realized when we were at basketball that it was no longer available online and wasn't at Target in FDL. But, it was at a Target about 20 minutes from where Eli's basketball was. So, we used the two hour break between games to get it. Helped keep the kids busy, too.
[Placed my order online and got a text when it was ready to be picked up. Love online shopping... even if I did pick it up in store.]
[my helpers!]
[just another picture of Nate sleeping... somewhere other than his bed!]
[The kids road their bikes 5 miles while I ran. Was a lot of fun having their company!]
[Nate had a gift card from Xmas that he finally used when he and I were out and about. He was excited to get a happy meal... I usually don't get them anymore since I usually end up finding the toys not being played with... so just throw away. He was excited to get one!]
[Had to get HoHos when I saw them on sale. Daisy's name from the breeder was HoHo. :)]
Kate received her First Communion last weekend. Very special day for her!
[Rachel did her hair... turned out very cute.]
[Kate with her Godmother... and aunt. Love.]
[Kate w/nani]
[Kate w/grandma and grandpa]
[family came over after mass... and it was so nice out!]
[Nate and aunt Christy playing HORSE.]
Sunday Eli and Mike headed to New London for a few baseball scrimmages. There was rain Saturday night, but they had no word that anything was being cancelled, so they left home about 6am I think it was. I planned to go until Saturday night. Decided to stay home with the other kids and not make them get up so early for scrimmages. Thought we might head to one of the later ones.
Long story short... the fields were wet, they waited hours to see if New London could get them in good playing condition. Finally decided to head back home. Ugh. So happy the kids and I didn't go along!
[Instead they got to sleep in! Nate came down and went straight to the couch and fell back asleep.]
It was very impromptu, but Rachel, Kate, Nate and I decided to head to the cottage since the weather was beautiful. Eli went to a friend's when they got back from New London and Mike got the pontoon from storage and got it all cleaned up! We left home at about 10:30am and got back about 8pm. Love that it's so close... makes going up there for even only part of day worth it!
[First cast of the year!]
[No fish, but they still had fun!]
[drying off after a little freezing cold water fight!]
[And, I found a buried sidewalk at the cottage... super fun!!]
Keep smiling!
