Super Bowl, 100th Day of School, Roller-Skating

We are so lucky to have our family all in town.  SO LUCKY!  We had an impromptu get together for the Super Bowl and almost everyone could make it.  It was so much fun!  Such a great game, too!!

[Here are a lot of people in our living room.  We don't have much seating in our living room, so brought the love seat from the front room in there.  Actually, it worked pretty well.  We also have a finished basement... but, most people hung out in the living room.  Maybe because it was closer to the food? ;)]

Rachel has a busy week of basketball.  Three games... yesterday, today and tomorrow.  Love watching them play!!  They won, too... even better!

Today was the 100th day of school and Kate and Nate got to dress up for it.  Nate made a necklace with 100 Fruit Loops on it and Kate dressed up as a 100-year-old.  I had to go to Goodwill for something for Rachel yesterday and looked around for something for Kate to wear today, but nothing jumped out at me.  Decided we'd just look around our house and find stuff.  Not too bad if you ask me. ;)

I helped out in Kate's gym class this morning, too.  They had roller-skating.  It's CRAZY to me how much kids improve in their coordination from Kindergarten to 2nd grade!!!  Her class did great!!  It was a completely different experience than when I helped out in Nate's class last week!  Less stressful... for sure.

[Sent this to Mike and his comment was "I love that she likes that helmet."  So true... still our little girl who isn't too cool for fun helmets. :)]
