first snow to play in, some other things and my favorite... "skins"

The last few days...

[okay, kids, time to go grocery shopping…]

The first snow of the season that could be played in.  The kids had a blast!

[love, love, love looking out at the kids (and Maggie) from upstairs… makes me so thankful]

Kate and Olivia doing their Little Red Riding Hood play… too funny!!  Thanks, grandma, for being the narrator. :)

[this mask is a little (okay, a lot) freaky!]

Our furnace wasn't working yesterday evening… ugh.  We thought it was the fan, which the company didn't have in stock, so we just waited until morning to have them come.  Turns out it was something minor and not the fan.  Whew.  But, made for a fun night.  The three big kids slept in Rachel's room with a room space heater and Mike and I slept in the living room with a fire going.  Thanks, Mike, for keeping it going all night.  Nate was in his room, which seemed warmer than the other rooms… he never woke up.

[here I am drinking my coffee this morning inside with gloves on… yes, it was that cold.]

Big night for Nate tonight… he got his hair cut like a big boy and didn't sit on my lap.  Wahoo!!  He did awesome!

After his haircut I gave him two coins.  He caught on really quickly what they were called.  Love how he says "quarter."

I was informed that at open gym on Sunday Eli and the boys played shirts vs skins… and Eli was skins.  For some reason that made me laugh.  It was his first time being "skins"… love it!

Mike got a video… :)

Keep smiling!
