Timber Rattlers, Elkhart Lake

Love this time of year!

[Nate playing at one of Eli's baseball games.  This is the shirt you will probably see on him a lot more.  I plan to put it on him when we go to the zoo, park, etc… he is much easier to spot in this.]

My cousin-in-law sang the National Anthem at the Timber Rattlers game yesterday.  She did such an amazing job.  I honestly had the goosebumps when she was singing.  Love listening to her… she has such a strong voice.  So happy we were able to make it to the game.

Last year I was in the car with Kate and Nate for most of the game.  Wasn't expecting too much from Nate at the game, but he did awesome!!!  We stayed until the bottom of the 8th.  Only left to try to beat traffic since we were heading to the Zimmermans' for supper right after the game.  I took this picture right at the start of the game.  Thought for sure the kids wouldn't last in our seats for very long… but, they surprised me.  Love when that happens! :)

[Okay, I get that Nate is closest to me in the picture… but, he looks HUGE!!]

Here are some pictures Christy took… thanks!

We went to the Zimmermans' after the game for supper.  A great time!  We even had a fire… love the setting.  Felt like we were in Parenthood, for anyone who is familiar with the setting on that show.  Love it so much!

Today the forecast was HOT and we had no plans.  So, I decided to take the kids to Elkhart Lake.  Rachel slept at the Zimmermans' last night and she wanted to hang out with grandma (so cute), so it was me, Eli, Kate and Nate.  It was so much fun!!  We got there around 11:30 and lasted until after 2:30pm.  It was a perfect day!  Definitely need to get there many more times this Summer!!!!  It was very reasonable to get in and we could bring snacks in… makes it a very cost-effective thing to do.

[you can see Eli and Nate in the background playing catch… Eli was so good with the kids.]

Keep smiling!
