Eli had a haircut appointment today, so the whole crew came along… including cousin Abby who slept over. As we walked into the building a guy who was installing a new tv in the Barbershop said "holy kid pile." That's a new one!
We took Abby back up to Oshkosh, so it was a perfect opportunity to meet Sheri and her other two kids for lunch at Red Robin! Good times! It wasn't even as crazy as it could have been. :)
Took a few pictures of Kate and Nate when they were coming downstairs. They sure do look like twins here… wow!
The kids were riding bikes yesterday through a big puddle in the road. They were having fun and I was trying not to let the fact that their clothes were all getting wet bother me. I was doing very well, I thought! ;) Kids will be kids, right?!
Well, after watching them ride through the puddle a lot I decided to run in and get my camera and get some pictures. Ran out, as soon as I got to the road Kate tipped on her bike and fell right in a muddy area. Then about five seconds after the picture below Rachel and her friend, Ellie, crashed. It was craziness out there for about two minutes!! I had Kate walk herself out of the muddy puddle and picked Rachel up off the ground… then of course, Nate wants to join the fun in the street… had to guide him back while walking Rachel's bike and trying to help them all laugh it off. If any neighbors were watching they probably had a pretty good laugh! :)
Kate was not hurt at all, Ellie had a little scrape on her elbow and Rachel had three scrapes and has a sore wrist, which I'm really hoping is nothing. Really could do without another major injury this Summer.
