The kids and I decorated the house and made a cake before he got home from work. And, cleaned up the house. Figured it'd be nice to come home to a clean(er) house. :)

We went out for supper to Buffalo Wild Wings… the kids were actually very good! No picture there, darn. The best line of the day I think was from Rachel when Mike said he was old. She said "you're not old, you're middle-aged." She meant well, but Mike thought that actually sounded worse!! We laughed about it so hard! :)
Then this evening Mike's parents stopped over to give him his gift and we also had cake. Was nice to have them join us. Carrot cake… yummy!
