Rachel has had a basketball camp the last month and yesterday was her last day. Her wrist was still very sore because of her bike accident, but she still wanted to go. She loved the camp and was sad it was done and that she couldn't do much on the last day. Good thing she went though… she earned two medals:
- MVP
- Miss Hustle
Awesome job, Rachel!
[she was very proud]
Because her wrist really seemed to be bothering her I decided to take her to the doctor yesterday. Would rather be safe than sorry...
[after a couple x-rays…]
Thankfully, nothing was broken! Whew! She must have just strained something, so was given a brace to wear for a week. If it's not better by then we have to go back in. Really hoping it heals and we don't have to go back in.
Eli, Kate, Nate and I went for a walk yesterday evening to look for some caterpillars. No luck, but the kids had fun!
Just an arm-wrestling match at the dinner table. After a little tournament… it was determined that Rachel was the champion. Nate wasn't interested, but might have won had he participated. ;) Instead he did the wheel barrel crawl thing in the living room. He has super strong arms!
Eli had a friend over today. This afternoon we took his friend along with us to look for caterpillars. I honestly didn't think we'd find anything after last night, but the kids were excited to look. So, we went and found one right away. A nice, big one! After driving around to several other places we found one more (baby one) and a tree frog. Not bad!
We have the frog in Eli's room for now. He was excited to keep it. We'll try our best to keep it fed and healthy. [Thanks mom and dad for letting us use your aquarium and set-up!]
[they could watch it all day I think… I sure hope Eli gets some sleep tonight! :)]
[he named him "Gogo" after Gomez]
Keep smiling!
