Things have been busy here, but nothing that I can think of that's super exciting.
Kate got her hair trimmed last week. We had to take her in to get the other side trimmed around her face. It really looks pretty good. Her little experimental trim could have been much worse than it was!
She had so much fun with me at the salon and did great! She even had her hair washed!
[we stopped for a special treat after!]
Rachel has been making bracelets all the time!! She has made some pretty neat ones! She learns how to do them by watching YouTube videos. Love that she enjoys it so much. What I love the most about it is that she can spend a good 30 minutes trying to make something new and when she's almost done and a band breaks she doesn't freak out. She is disappointed, but just gets back at trying it again. Love that!
We've watched Evie a couple times recently. She used to never take a nap for me... until we started the naps on the couch. She's been taking more for me now. Last week her and Kate both napped... that usually doesn't happen. :) They look so cute on the couch together!
And, our first snow that stuck! It's so pretty! I love it as long as I don't have to drive in it. :)
I went to the corner to get the kids from the bus and could tell the sunset was pretty. So, I drove over to the lake to get a picture. I parked and ran out closer to the water to try to get a neat picture. Of course, it was much prettier in person and this is on my phone. But, it was amazing!!!
I was a vendor at the Sigma Holiday House this year. It was a lot of fun! Rachel helped me set up and was with me working my booth most of the time. Loved having her there with me!
I've recently had a friend send me some hand me down pjs. They were a 3T, so I just put in Nate's closet and figured I'd get them out in awhile... I thought the one piece ones looked really long. I was desperate for clean pjs the other day and decided to just bring down the 3T pjs. It was bedtime, so he wouldn't be running all over. Thought for sure he'd be tripping all over them.
Well, turns out... they're tight!!! I was shocked! Here is Nate is his pjs that won't last much longer. Cracks me up how they gather by his knees. They are so tight in his thighs, too. Funny!!
As you can see in the background of the pictures of Nate... we put up our Christmas decorations this evening. It was fun... everyone helped. Nate only broke one thing. ;) The others had fun helping put things in their places. Love this time of year!!! Next is the tree... hopefully this weekend for sure. We've also had several fires already this year. Love having a fire going and Christmas music playing... and Welcome Home in the Scentsy warmer. :)
Also, have to throw in here that I'm running the Turkey Trot on Thursday. That's all fine, but I signed up for this Turkey Trot Challenge with some other people in town. Thought it would motivate me to run... but, it hasn't... AT ALL!! I have only run one time since the Fall50 which was a month ago. So, sorry to my fellow Turkey Trot Challenge teammates... I will not be breaking any records. Thought about trying to get a run in this week, but figured all that would do is make me sore for the actual run on Thursday. Hoping I get some crazy motivation and endurance on Thursday... will definitely need it! ;)
Keep smiling!
