boys of fall, hoarder, highchair

It's been awhile... so, here are a few updates. :)

Eli heard the song "The Boys of Fall" by Kenny Chesney on the bus on his way home from school last week.  He asked to watch the video right when he got home.  He's always liked that song and it's been awhile since we've heard it.  Not sure why, but watching him watch this video gets me emotional.  I love this video so much.

Kate is our little hoarder... it comes out usually in the evening.  Here is an example.  She took all the toys from the front room and created a pile on Eli.  Yes, Eli is under that pile!!!  She does this a lot, but usually just creates a pile... not with anyone under it.

This happens all the time, but this hand print was so perfect I had to get a picture. :)

Last week all the kids were sitting at the table eating at the same time.  Big kids!!!  Nate still usually sits in a highchair, but this morning he was just on a chair.

Speaking of highchair...

The other day I had some mail to take to the mailbox.  My running shoes happened to be by the door, so I put them on.  Told Kate I was going to quick take the the mail out.  I actually ran... I haven't in so long, it felt good!  Ran to the mailbox at the end of the driveway, put mail in, took mail out and ran back to the house.  Evie was over and watched me through the window.  I got in the kitchen and Kate was saying "naughty Nate!"  I looked and here is what I saw.  Nate was not in here when I took the mail outside.  He really climbed in there... and in that short time I was outside?  I couldn't believe it!  Part of me thought that maybe I put him in there and forgot I did it, but Kate confirmed I did not.  She said she went to the bathroom to get a kleenex, but that he did climb in.  I can't believe that!  That Nate... definitely different than the other three.  Need to keep a close eye on that boy!  The good thing was that he was buckling himself.
