Christmas Tree

We decided to get our tree today, so it'd be all warmed up and settled for us to decorate on Friday.  Years ago it took us awhile to pick out our tree.  These days it's a pretty quick task.  I probably said the same thing last year. :)

We went to A&W, looked for about five minutes and picked our tree.  Figure they are all good trees... it's not really worth spending too much time fussing over.  And, maybe it had something to do with the fact that Kate was whining and Nate was running all over without gloves on (he refused!). ;)  Whatever the reason... it was quick.

One thing Mike and I can't understand... why does an evergreen tree cost $70 if you buy it cut off and hundreds if you get it with a root ball?  I just don't get it.  Happy our Christmas tree isn't hundreds of dollars, but why the difference??

I like getting our tree from A&W, because they give you a $5 coupon with your purchase for ice cream when they open back up.  Now, if I can just remember where I put the coupon... and remember to use it!
