As you know today is also Dr. Seuss's birthday! Well, it was celebrated at school today at least. In the car tonight Rachel was saying that she read that Dr. Seuss's birthday is March 2nd... and not today. Eli's response was "well, did it say that was his birthday party?" He was dead serious... it was so cute and funny! Mike and I both had to laugh. I just confirmed online that his birthday is actually March 2nd. Guessing the schools just celebrated today.
I ran some errands this morning. We got in the car and were ready to go by 9am I think. Here is a picture of Kate and Nate at 9:30am... really, kids?! They actually did really well, but I guess they were tired.
The game was very close the entire time - so fun to watch! The crowd was also very loud, lots of students and tons of school spirit. Loved it!!! They even turned the lights out and had spot lights when announcing the NFDL starting line-up... VERY COOL!!!
So, I mentioned that the crowd was very loud... well, they were very loud almost the entire game. Just about all but the moment this came out of Rachel's mouth, "Ewe, did someone fart?!" Yes, she said that... and, yes, people around us heard her. Embarrassing! She seemed very embarrassed and I did feel bad for her. It seemed to get quiet right when that came out of her mouth. Poor thing. Kate's been a little "stinker," literally, so we've been asking her a lot if she's farted. So, it wasn't odd that that came out of a mouth of someone in our family... just too bad other spectators had to hear it! ; )
