hockey, sleepover and baseball

Nate is taking an early nap and Kate is almost asleep on the couch... guess it was a fun weekend!  Thought I'd do a quick post instead of waiting until the kids are in bed tonight.

The kids all had a very fun weekend!!

Friends' Hockey Games
Mike took Rachel and Eli to watch their friends play hockey on Saturday.  We've been hoping to get to a game this season and it finally worked out.  They were very excited to go and from what I hear their friends were also very excited to have some friends in the stands.

Mike took a few pictures for me - thank, Mike!

Cousin Sleepover
We got to watch Olivia on Saturday and Saturday night!  It was so much fun... she was great!  Her and Kate had a blast playing together and Rachel also really enjoyed playing with the girls.  It was so fun to watch them!  They did a lot of dancing and dressing up.  Rachel also really enjoyed doing their hair... love it!

Here is a video of the first dance party of the sleepover... there were a few more after this, too.  They had so much fun!!!

Singing the ABCs while playing the piano... very talented girls! ; )

[A couple tired girls!]

My sister and her family also came over Saturday afternoon and stuck around until the evening.  Always enjoy their company!!  Here is a picture of all the kids eating.  So, there were eight kids here all afternoon and evening.  Most of the time didn't feel like it, but sometimes it definitely did! ; )

Olivia was the first one up.  We had fun hanging out in the morning.  Here she is looking at the cardinal outside.  Love her eyes!!

Do-It-All Hitting Competition
On Sunday Eli participated in the Do-It-All hitting competition.  He had a lot of fun.  Each kids got 10 pitches and they were scored based off of where they hit the ball.  I wasn't able to go, but Eli was excited to tell me about it when he got home.  Thanks again Mike for taking some pictures for me. : )

Here is a picture of the participants and their medals.  Some very proud kids!

We also had supper at the Zimmermans' on Sunday.  This is a pretty standard Sunday thing.  Always a great time, but for some reason I never take my camera there.  I really need to do that!

That's all for now...

And, Kate's sleeping on the couch!

Keep smiling!
