thanks~newborn pics~backyard~and more

Thank you ~ Mike
Want to say THANK YOU to Mike for helping me with everything!  Since I can't pick up Kate, lift anything else heavy or drive... he's been doing almost everything.  I feel like I'm always asking him to do something for me.  I am very excited to be able to do things on my own again... just a few more days!  I'm feeling great, just have some restrictions for the first two weeks following the c-section.

Nate's Photo Shoot
We took Nate to a friend for his newborn pictures.  I was nervous, but he did great.  Here are a few of the pictures.  Kelly did a great job and her turnaround was amazing!!!!  She had a few pictures for me by the time I got home from the photo-shoot. : )

Visit from Meghan
Meghan stopped by today to meet Nate.  It was great to see her and catch up.  She also brought lunch - thanks so much Meghan!  I had to keep a close eye on her... she warned me she might try to slip him in her jacket on the way out. : )

Rachel's CLUES
On Fridays Rachel has to take something to school for kids to try to guess what it is.  She has to write three clues to give the kids hints as to what it is.  Here is what she took today...

Eli being a helpful big brother...
Here is Eli doing what he does best... helping the little kids.  He's an annoying little brother to Rachel, but so helpful with the little kids.

Nate's first trip to Backyard
We did it... survived our first outing to Backyard Grill with four kids!  It wasn't too bad and was so yummy as usual!  The big kids were all great and Nate slept the entire time.  The timing worked out perfect, too.  Fed Nate right before we left and by the time we got home he was hungry.  Thanks Grandma Zim for the gift card for Christmas! : )

Voicemail from Rachel's friend
This is a voicemail from one of Rachel's friends from earlier this week.  It is just so cute I had to share!!  Hope it makes you smile... I sure did.  Wasn't sure the best way to record this, so just took a video of it.  That way I could share via YouTube.

Okay, Nate needs me... he's just pooped for the fourth time since getting back from supper.  I remember now that all little babies do is eat, sleep and poop! : )
