Taking some steps! We are so so so so excited!!!! She seems to be very excited also. : ) Mike was playing with her and he said she just seemed to have this new found balance. She would all of a sudden just stand for about ten seconds, which she usually never does. So, we took advantage of it and practiced walking... which we've been trying to do a lot lately... although she hasn't been very interested. She usually will give it a try a couple times and then just sit whenever we let go of her.
Well, yesterday, apparently she felt like learning or at least trying harder. We've said many times that if she just wanted to walk she probably could... I think she's just usually lazy (I like the word "content" better) and doesn't really care. But, we got four steps out of her yesterday afternoon! Thanks to Rachel we were able to get them on video. They are a quick four steps, but four none the less. : ) Please excuse the shakiness of the camera... Rachel takes videos just as she lives life... full of energy, crazy and never still!
Hoping for some more steps this weekend... but, we'll have to wait and see what kind of mood Kate is in. : )
