Nate's hair, a walk in January and "he just fits"

Mike did Nate's hair this evening.  It was pretty funny and even a bit cute.  He looked like the punk he's been acting like lately. ; )

Here are some pictures I took of Kate yesterday.  Sometimes I can't help but grab the camera and have her pose for a few pictures.  The good thing is, she never seems to mind a bit. : )

It was in the 50s here today, so I got to take Kate, Nate and Maggie for a walk after lunch.  It felt SO GOOD to get some fresh air!!!  Loved it!

Maggie is so out of shape.  We had to slow down for her a couple times.  I was pretty much dragging her home when we got back to our road.

I hadn't been down Deadwood in awhile, so hadn't seen the ice shoves yet.  They were still piled up on shore in some areas.  It was sad to see the destruction in some areas.  Mother nature is powerful, that's for sure.

Tonight all of a sudden I looked and Nate was just fitting through this space.  Had I seen him attempt this I would have not let him do it for fear he'd get stuck!  Since I knew he could make it, I let him keep doing it - he was having way too much fun to stop him.  To any normal kid Nate's age this would be a simple task... however, our kids all have larger than average heads... so, this was a very tight fit! ; )
