My sister gave me this book and I love it! What a neat idea and perfect gift. She knows me so well. It's a small journal ~ about the size of my hand. It gives me the opportunity to write just a sentence each day about something that brought me happiness. Just perfect! Thanks Sheri! : )
Rachel finally got to get together with a friend on Tuesday... the day before she had to go back to school. I thought the vacation would be filled with at least a couple sleepovers, but sicknesses prevented that. Finally she was better on Tuesday and I told her she could have a friend over, but they had to stay outside, so we didn't spread any of the germs in our house to her friend. It was a chilly day, but they played outside for about an hour. Her friend got a ride to our house on a fun toy... how cool is that!
And, here is Nate doing something that I actually wrote in my happiness journal yesterday. This is happiness to me. It's frustrating that I can't keep windows clean for even 5 minutes, but something that makes me happy at the same time. I love my kids and they are only little for such a short time. They grow up way too fast. This is something I'm sure I'll miss when the kids are all grown up. So, I'm enjoying it... which may seem weird. ; )
Keep smiling!!
