SNOW DAY 2012

Today was the first snow day of the season... very exciting!!  Not even sure how much snow we have, but it's a lot.  About a foot, I think!  It was nice not to have to go anywhere today.

[Kate even got to play in the snow today... she did really well.  I pushed her in the sled for awhile and she did good.  Was a little unsure at first, but was okay as long as I went slow.]

Ella came over to play and Eli went to play with the boys.  The girls had fun... they played outside two times and did some art stuff, too.  Also, the usual... dancing and just hanging out. : )

[here is a picture outside this evening... the snow was covering everything.  so pretty!  we did go out a few times to knock snow off trees to hopefully save them from being ruined.  the snow was so heavy today!]

Not sure why I did this, but I also took a video.  It was just so pretty out.  Wanted to try to capture it!

Nate has been doing better with eating table food.  He had some peas and carrots and peaches for supper.  He did really good with them.  He also finally learned how to drink out of his cup!  I was a bit excited as you'll be able to hear in the video.  Sorry. ; )

Here is the kids' finished art from today.  I gave them the idea to make and decorate Christmas trees.  Sounds boring, but they actually had fun.  Kept them busy for awhile.

The kids played outside one more time around 6:30pm.  They were out there for almost an hour I think.  They ended up having a snowball fight with Mike.  Hard to see them in the picture below, but I felt the need to at least try to get a picture.  I enjoyed watching from inside. : )

So, you might have noticed that all my pictures recently have been taken on my phone.  Our camera is not working and I'm so bummed about it.  Taking it in Saturday to have it looked at.  I honestly think it was banged up against something.  We've had nothing but good luck with it until now.  Not a good time to not have a working camera.  And, also not a good time to have to buy a new camera.  Hopefully, it's an easy fix - but, is anything these days?  All in all, it's a very minor thing, so we'll make it through it and all will be just fine.  But, I do miss it.  : )
