five things on this Friday

I was just thinking about our Friday and five things stood out that I thought I'd share.

1: Pizza
I had lunch at my parents' today with Kate, Nate, Sheri and Nevie.  My mom made our favorite... a homemade pizza!!  So good - thanks mom!

2: Missing Sock
I get to my parents' and my mom tells me to remind her to ask Sheri if she has my mom's other sock.  My reaction to that was... you mean if you are missing a sock after doing wash the only thing you can come up with is that someone must have accidentally took it home?!  You don't first think... well, maybe it's in the basket in my bedroom ~ or maybe it's in the pile in the kids' room ~ or maybe it's sitting on the dryer ~ or maybe it's in a drawer in the living room?????  What's wrong with me?!  The last place I would ever think a missing sock in our house would be is outside our home.  We had a good laugh from my reaction.

We also got a good laugh when my mom asked my sister about the sock.  Sheri just laughed and said she did have the sock at home.  She washed it and didn't think it looked familiar, but set it aside thinking that she must have just forgotten about that pair and the other was probably somewhere.  Okay, maybe I'm not alone! ; )

3: Similar Sisters
After being around my parents' for awhile I look at my socks and my sister's... really, out of all the socks in this world we have the same socks on today!  Love it!!  It's actually crazy how similar our taste is with things like socks, clothes (for us and the kids) and many other things.

4: Fondy BB Game
We made it to another Fondy basketball game tonight.  The kids did good.  Nate ended up falling asleep while Mike was holding him towards the end of the game.  Popcorn was good - game, not so much.  They were down and came back... but, couldn't pull off a win.  Darn.  Maybe next time.

5: Crunch Berries
Yes, I would have been totally okay without the bowl of Crunch Berries I just had after midnight. ; )
