Nate: 9-months old
Hard to believe Nate is already 9-months old.  I know I say this every month, but where has the time gone?  Really?  He's growing up way too fast!  He's so much fun now.  He's starting to crawl, getting more teeth, starting to pull himself up on things and smiling so much... although that's really not new. ; )

Took a step back to enjoy...

Tonight, there was a moment when I took a step back and watched Eli, Kate and Nate.  The days go so quickly and tonight I actually stopped everything and just stood back and watched the three kids that were home at the time.  They were all playing so well.  Eli was coloring and Kate was watching.  And, Nate was just keeping busy.  I enjoyed every moment.

Rachel... Wednesdays

Rachel has super busy Wednesdays.  I almost feel bad for her, but it doesn't seem to bother her.  I think the timing for her busy day is good.  She knows she has nothing after school on Thursday, so that helps her through the day I think.  She goes from school to jump rope and then CCD.  She wasn't home until almost 8pm.  Then she had some homework that we worked on.  That's a long day even for an adult.  I really need to look into the Summer CCD program for next year.  She's such a hard-worker and seems to enjoy everything she's involved in.

A few more things...

Here are a couple other things that made me laugh the last couple days.

We had tacos last night and I told Rachel she had to try it again.  She said she didn't want to, because she doesn't like tacos.  I told her it's been a long time since she's tried them and said she might like them and not even realize it.  Eli supported what I said.  Rachel's comment to Eli was, "Your taste buds can really change in five months and it's only been two."  I forgot she knew so much about taste buds. ; )

Eli was teaching Kate how to respond to someone saying "sorry."  He said, "Kate when someone says 'sorry' you don't say 'sorry' you say 'that's okay.'"  I thought it was so cute.
