little update before the weekend...

No, we didn't get out in the snow today, but I do have a few snow related pictures.  By the time Rachel got home from school it was supper time and then I ran to the store.  The kids never even asked to play in the snow, which surprised me.  I told them their cousins were sleeping over tomorrow night, so that's all they could think about!!  They're very excited already!  I'm also excited, because my sister is staying the night, too.  Mike will be out of town, so thought it'd be fun!

Cardinal in the snow... the cardinals just look so much more red here than anywhere else and we're not sure why.  They're so pretty!!!  We had a lot around today.

Rachel came home from school with this.  Can't remember for the life of me what they're called!  Anyway, Rachel thought she was pretty cool with it.  She was very surprised when I told her I used to make those when I was younger... not sure if she believed me.  Don't think she thought I was ever that cool! ; )

So, I did a little shopping this evening with just Nate.  We went to TJ Maxx and Target.  Was fun and he did very well.  I was reminded that he was my fourth child when I looked in his car seat and realized I grabbed a kitchen towel for his spit-up towel... too funny!!  I don't think I ever used a kitchen towel as a spit-up towel for any of the other kids, but have often with Nate.
