Eli's Conference
I had Eli's conference yesterday. I was SO happy to hear that he's "come out of his shell." Eli was so shy the beginning of the year and would rarely even answer the teacher's questions. Thought this could be a long year, but I was informed yesterday that he's doing much better. He answers questions, raises his hand and has made some really good friends (boys and girls.) I was told that there are two girls that really like Eli... they always want to be sitting by him. The other day one girl was by him and the other girl wanted to sit by him. The other girl had to go someplace else and was sad. I guess Eli looked at her and said, "it's okay, I'll still be your friend." How cute is that!! I'm so happy that he's talking... was a little worried earlier in the year.
Nate ~ first bath
Nate had his first real bath yesterday... finally. It was so nice to have him really clean. A sponge bath is just not the same as a real bath. He did pretty good... didn't cry too much. Here are just a couple pictures.
And, here are some pictures of Nate awake. He's been awake a little more during the day lately, which has been fun. The kids get excited when he's awake.
Fondy Basketball Game
We went to the Fondy basketball game yesterday evening, too. It was a lot of fun. The kids all did great... Nate slept the entire time. It was something fun to do. The Cardinal Skippers performed during half`time and they're so awesome!!! I get the goose-bumps when I watch them perform. It really is amazing what they can do. It's a jump rope team in Fond du Lac... kids of all ages.
Here is a picture of Kate being "cool!" She loves to wear Rachel's sunglasses. So funny!
Keep smiling! : )
