I wanted to try to get some pictures of Kate and Olivia with the butterfly, but after putting it near them for a split second I realized that was not going to be possible! They were way too interested in grabbing it... which I guess is to be expected from such little kids. I decided to try to video-tape them looking at it, which was very hard. Here is the best I could get while trying not to have the butterfly squished, not dropping my phone and also not having Olivia who was hanging on my leg tumble to the ground. So, I didn't get Olivia in the video, which I thought I had done until I watched the video (I was bummed about that). She was right there just as excited as Kate was just unfortunately not in front of the camera. Also, I was holding my phone weird I guess and the video is sideways... sorry about that! I tried to edit on YouTube, but I think it'll take awhile for the edit to go through.
I truly risked the life of this poor butterfly for a simple little video... so sorry Mr. Butterfly! ; )
I look forward to doing this each and every year. We didn't have many this year since our caterpillar "hot-spot" was mowed down, but we did still get to enjoy a couple butterflies... thanks to my parents finding them. So much fun... and truly an amazing thing to see!
Keep smiling! : )
