No School and Shuffle Board

The kids had off school today... that meant COUSINS SLEEPOVER last night!  Love having my sister's kids in town who now get to enjoy the same days off of school as my kids.

It started with tacos last night.  And, since we had nine people eating... I had to clean up the "laundry room," so there was room for everyone.  Love when I clean the laundry out of the dining room.. it's like we add another room.  Now, if I could just keep on top of the laundry ~ we could always have this extra room.  Not happening anytime soon.

The kids got a table shuffleboard for Christmas a couple years ago and it's been in the back room for about a year... or more.  Works great for holding storage bins. ;)

We bought more of the sand for the table and Rachel and Abby wanted the table out so they could play.  So, that was my morning project.  Took a bunch out of the backroom, so we could get the table out.  Then put a bunch of stuff back in the backroom.  I was able to get rid of a box of things... and another box of stuff for the garbage!  So, worth it for me!

Kate needed to buy a birthday gift for a birthday party she has this weekend, so her and I went to Target while Rachel was at basketball practice tonight.  When Nevie was over they got all dressed up.  They love doing that.  Kate found the cutest hand-me-down outfit.  Love!  So, she was styling at Target.  That girl has way more style than me!!!

Mike and I went to dinner tonight and left the kids at home.  They are at that age... so wierd, but also super nice!  I do miss my babies, but this stage is also fun for reasons other than the baby-stage.  Like getting supper with your husband. :)

Got home by 9pm, put kids to bed... all but Rachel.  Rachel was hanging out with us and all of a sudden put her arm in the air.  She was laughing and said, "what, didn't you ever see anyone do this?"  She said it was common and that there are other people that just put their arm in the air.  Very odd conversation... but, boy were we laughing.  Still not sure what she was talking about, but she was so serious about it... and it just sounded so silly!!  Maybe we'll put Kate in charge next time we go to dinner!
