Rachel's 10th Birthday

Yesterday was Rachel's birthday… and we enjoyed helping her celebrate it!  Her party isn't until Sunday, but we did our traditional birthday things yesterday.  The streamers on her door, the school treat, jump rope treat and dinner wherever she wanted.  Fun day!

Rachel loves Rocky's pizza, so that's where we went for supper.  Yes, that meant most of our family had pizza for 4 out of 5 meals.  [I could honestly eat pizza for every single meal!]  It was a late one, because Eli had practice until 7pm.  Rachel had jump rope before that, so we couldn't go to eat before basketball.  Kate and Nate both took little catnaps late afternoon, so they were great.  We've never sat at the big round table, but it was perfect!  Brought back some memories for me and Mike of going there after basketball games in high school.  It was the hangout place… years ago at least. :)

There was also a reality check moment as I ordered our pizza.  The girl said "six of you?"  I said "yeah" and then realized that there really were SIX of us… yikes!

[We actually got a family picture, because the girl working there saw me taking a picture of everyone and asked if I wanted her to take a picture of all of us.  She was very nice for our entire visit.]
