The kids did GREAT! We left around 7:15am to get Rachel to where her team was meeting. After that we had a little down time in the car before Eli needed to be dropped off at school. Next we headed up to Appleton. Got there with plenty of time to spare, so stopped at Target. Show was around 10am.
It was so fun to watch we decided to meet them for their next show after lunch. So, we headed to JD's for lunch. That brought back memories from when Mike was at LU for school. We used to eat there… good times!
After that we headed back home. The lake looked so pretty. I drove on a road closer to the lake for awhile. Got a few pictures. So pretty.
Again, had some time before we had to get Rachel. So, picked up Box Tops at Lakeshore and ran another errand. Got Rachel and then had to head back right away to get Eli off the bus. Finally… home, sweet, home!
What a fun day though!
Kate still had a big night at Fondy Idol with Christy and Olivia. Here was she was waiting for her ride. :)
And, my night consisted of Box Tops. Thanks to Eli's help it only took me about four hours. I don't mind helping with this program at all. I enjoy doing it… there's usually at least one kid that is helping me most of the time, so it's fun. And, I usually have music blasting, too. :)
Today was picking up and cleaning for Rachel's birthday party tomorrow. The kids did great and helped me a lot, but simply getting along. :) Every once in awhile they help each other out. I caught it two different times today! Ha! Really, they were good most of the day.
After Mike got home from his fishing tournament (no fish - ugh) I did lots of running around. Balloons, returns, some snacks and lots of other odds things. And, couldn't forget a much overdue carwash… that had a very long line!
